Objectives: The Materials and Mechanical Engineer responds to the complex needs of industry and materials through his versatility. He is close to the teams in the field, able to provide innovative solutions to the various constraints of companies.
The Materials and Mechanics branch, through apprenticeship, offers a different access route to an engineering degree. It is based both on the teachings of the UTT and on the industrial fabric made up of the companies that train its engineers. During his three-year course, the apprentice engineer in Materials and Mechanics participates and / or leads various industrial projects within the company that trains him, from very small companies to large international groups.

Acquired skills during the training : The engineer MM UTT is a general engineer, employed by a company for 3 years on the day of obtaining his diploma. His skills are particularly developed in the fields of mechanics, materials and design, thanks to academic teaching. This course is more demanding in the expression and communication (EC), business management (ME), and humanities (HT) skill blocks, thanks to apprenticeship, with 5 defenses to be provided during the course, including one in English.
