Objectives: The Master's degree in Automation, Robotics aims to train specialists in the design of complex robotic systems and/or intelligent systems with capacities for perception, learning, decision-making and action in interaction with the environment. The training places particular emphasis on the aspects of modeling, simulation, and control of these systems, while integrating the multidisciplinary aspect specific to robotic systems such as perception of the environment, reflex type control, intelligence artificial, interaction with the environment.
The major offers two courses, Advanced and Robotic Systems (SAR), in agreement with the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), and Intelligent Systems (SI).
The first year covers tools related to engineering sciences in the common core with the other master's degrees from the Engineering Sciences department, then the fundamentals specific to robotic and intelligent systems in the common core.
The second year offers specialized teaching for both courses with a choice of common teaching units à la carte allowing students to personalize their course, according to their professional project. An industrial or research initiation internship of two to four months is carried out from the first year. An integrative project with a multidisciplinary vocation is proposed in the second year, followed by the obligatory 6-month master's internship in a laboratory or in a company.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Targeted careers : The training opens to careers as engineers or research engineers in companies on a regional, national and international scale in the fields concerned with robotic, mechanical or mechatronic systems, interactive systems, embedded systems and intelligent systems, to careers as researchers or researcher and teacher-researcher by pursuing a doctorate. The main outlets concern the following sectors:
Automotive industry, transport, aeronautics, electronics, manufacturing, manufacturing robotics, telecommunications and multimedia
Service robotics, home automation
Maintenance sector
Health technology sector
Public or private research laboratories and higher education.
