Course Details

Objectives: This UVSQ master’s degree is accredited by Paris-Saclay University.
Students will have a “Paris-Saclay” registration and will receive a diploma from Paris-Saclay University.

The DataScale course focuses on the study and mastery of new data management and knowledge extraction architectures, the scale of which varies from very large data servers (data centers) to myriads of connected objects (edge ??computing). ). By addressing the technological and scientific challenges linked to the design of these new architectures and the Big Data applications exploiting them, it will provide students with dual skills in engineering and data analysis (data engineer and data scientist). The issues of data distribution, security and performance of data managers on the cloud (RDBMS and NoSQL) will be studied as well as the issues of heterogeneity, quality and exploitation of data by data mining tools and machine learning.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
