Objectives: The 1st year of the Master's (M1) is distinguished by its generalist and fundamental nature, its broad spectrum and the variety of lessons offered. Multi-located on 3 sites (Orsay-Cachan, Evry, Versailles), it aims to give all students a solid foundation in all areas of the specialization: automatics, electronics, industrial computing, computer engineering, electrical energy, and processing. signal and image. It also aims to enable students to understand the interactions between these areas. The fundamental aspects are presented in the 1st semester in teaching units (UE), relating to each of the disciplines. In the 2nd semester, an offer of optional teaching units associated with the specialties of the different sites allows students to deepen some of the disciplinary sectors mentioned above and to discover new ones. They are divided into thematic blocks opening up to different M2 courses.
