Objectives: The IMSAT Master's Degree in Engineering (CMI) is a 5-year training course in the aeronautics and transport professions.
It is the only one in France in the field of aeronautics and transport. It allows
to acquire dual skills in mechanics and electronics and is made up of 4 routes:
- Embedded systems engineering (ISE)
- Engineering of composite structures (ISC)
- Aeronautical engineering and maintenance avionics course (IMAA)
- Aeronautical engineering and maintenance course structure (IMAS)
It makes it possible to integrate the engineering professions with equipment manufacturers, manufacturers or subcontractors in the field of transport.
Intended for: - Bachelors, Bac specializing in Maths and Physics or Engineering Sciences
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Prerequisites: Scientific or technical baccalaureate.
Admission requirements: Admission via Parcoursup: study of the file then interview
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Maths and Physics or Sciences of
the engineer
- Equivalent level B (CECL) desired
Targeted careers : Operational support engineer in avionics and structure
- Measurement - testing - control engineer
- Electronics and embedded systems engineer
- Technical quality control engineer
- Methods engineer-scheduling of studies and mechanical production
- Information technology engineer
Duration and terms: The CMI is a 5-year course after the BAC and 2 diplomas are issued: the license at the end of the 3rd year and the master's degree at the end of the 5th year.
The 5 years are divided into 10 semesters. It takes place face-to-face and can be followed alternately.
- The first two years take place on the Talence campus, and allow
to acquire a general scientific culture (mathematics, computer science, etc.),
to have a base of skills in mechanics, electronics and basics in
Humanities and Social Sciences.
The third year of the bachelor's degree and the master's take place
on the site of the Evering Institute in Mérignac and allow you to specialize
in a course: ISE, ISC, IMAS or IMAA.
Notes: The CMI IMSAT offers a label
- National: CMI of the Figure network https://reseau-figure.fr/
- European: EUR-ACE (European Engineer Label) https://www.enaee.eu/eur-ace-system/
It includes the completion of a period abroad and internships in companies and
