An establishment associated with the Institut Mines Telecom (IMT) and the University of LorraineThe Institute offers two training courses:
- The first is the Nancy Mining Engineer training specializing in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering course, the diploma of which is delivered by the University of Lorraine in partnership with ITII Lorraine.
- The second is the Master Design Product Design course.
La création de l’Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie de la Conception, situé à Saint-Dié des Vosges, est à l’initiative de trois membres :
- le CIRTES,
- Mines Nancy – Université de Lorraine
- et l’Institut Mines Télécom.
Research work, which constitutes the second half of the Institute's activity, is carried out to provide solutions or alternatives to technological and economic problems identified by industrial partners in the mechanical and plastics sectors. Research activities particularly concern advanced modeling, design and manufacturing methods applied to tooling and industrial products.
