Objectives: The engineer in Electronics - Embedded Systems and Telecommunications (E-SET) has the necessary skills to manage the organizational, economic, human and technical aspects of innovative projects in all areas of electronics and its uses. Its scope extends from the design of electronic systems to their implementation in numerous industrial situations. Possessing solid scientific foundations (particularly in the fields of electronics and embedded systems) but also management skills (consolidated by his business experience), the E-SET engineer is able to integrate into innovative and internationally open companies (both ETIs, SMEs/SMIs and large groups).
The E-SET training is structured around 6 training pillars (Sciences for engineers, Digital electronics, Computer science/Programming, Radiofrequency and Antennas, Business sciences and English) which total 1800 hours of attendance at the school . It includes around 1/3 of teaching in the human sciences (including English and sport), promoting a spirit of openness and the culture of the engineer.
Intended for: Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements: - engineering students from the 1st Cycle of INSA group establishments (internal candidates)
- external candidates, holders of a Bac+2-3 scientific or technical degree:
> BUT GEII, R&T and MP > L2 or L3
> BTS having followed an ATS preparation > CPGE
Acquired skills during the training : The skills certified at the end of the training are divided into 7 blocks:
- develop embedded systems using electronics concepts;
- design autonomous electronic systems;
- monitor and command embedded systems;
- design, plan and implement IP flow-oriented networks for wired and wireless media;
- design digital and analog telecommunications systems;
