Objectives: Train engineers capable of learning the programming and integration of complex systems
that can be embedded, integrated, interactive and communicative. This requires to master the material aspects (architecture) and software (embedded programming) of these systems.
After his studies, specialized computer engineer in this sector will thus have three major skills: design, programming and use of embedded systems.
Many applications in robotics and virtual reality are offered to students.
Intended for: Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Targeted careers : Tens of billions of embedded systems are designed and used by many industrial sectors such as:
aeronautics, space, defense
the railway and automobile industries
mobile networks and telecommunications
the semiconductor industry
infrastructure: surveillance, home automation
The partners are companies designing embedded systems in the fields of transport and defense (EADS, Airbus, Renault, etc.), in the field of telecommunications (Thales, etc.), companies designing SoCs (System on Chip) for various applications (ST Microelectronics, etc.), companies developing CAD tools for circuits or systems, companies in the NICT sector or even service companies (ALTRAN, SOPRA, VIVERIS, etc.).
Partnerships with national organisations: Airbus, MBDA, Renault, Thales
