Master mention Géomatique, parcours Système d'information géographique et analyse des territoires (SIGAT)

Course Details

Objectives: Train professionals from the analysis of territories capable of designing and piloting an infrastructure-type GIS (Geographic Information System).

Intended for: Students

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: Master 1: direct access to the licensed development, geography
access validation for other licenses or French equivalent diplomas

Master2: Access subject to obtaining a Master or benefit of validating an equivalent qualification, or skills related to professional experience.

Duration and terms: 4 semesters

Notes: The content of the SIGAT training focuses on the processing chain of geographic information in a management and analysis of the territories context. It relies on professional workshops, conferences and the production of two workplace internship.

Students from the Master find insertion possibilities as a GIS project manager, research officer, director of GIS services in many institutions: local authorities, planning agencies, and technical services of the urban planning, geo-marketing companies, ..
