Course Details

Objectives: Course: Materials and product engineering professions (offered in St-Denis):
By following this course, students will be able to gradually increase the level (novice, intermediate, competent) of their skills in eco-design of products and shaping of materials, allowing them to work in different structures to exercise technical functions: R&D team, design firm to bring their materials skills, design office to carry out the design, methods office to industrialize the product or in a manufacturing and prototyping workshop to monitor and optimize the production lines of a product.

Course: Professions in the characterization and expertise of materials and products (offered in St-Denis):
By following this course, the student will be able to gradually increase the level (novice, intermediate, competent) of essential skills to understand and implement tests and analyses adapted to the different families of materials (metallic, polymers, ceramics and composites), which allow the characterization of a large number of properties of use and to optimize the development of new materials and their implementation. The senior technician may be recruited in a characterization, analysis, quality, non-destructive testing or expertise department, in a private or public laboratory and R&D centers.
