Course Details

Objectives: The transformer is an essential and omnipresent component in an electrical network both for electrical insulation and for adapting voltage levels. Understanding its operating principle is therefore essential to predict its behavior in an electrical network and specify or use it properly. At the end of this training, participants will be able to argue the specifications for manufacturing a transformer and to analyze in detail the proposals made by manufacturers.

Prerequisites: Mathematical tools: complex numbers.
Electrical engineering: electrical circuits in sinusoidal mode.

Targeted careers : This training allows individuals to secure their professional career by giving them the skills necessary to support companies in the challenges linked to their sector of activity and adapt to associated technological developments.

Duration and terms: 21 h
