Course Details

Objectives: Compactness and high speed lead electronic devices and telecommunications systems to increase in frequency. This increase in frequency makes their design and characterization more delicate. To participate in this major development (5G, Internet of Things, positioning systems, etc.), it is therefore vital to be trained in good practices for microwave systems. This is the challenge of this training which, through its reference device, the vector network analyzer, aims to decipher the specific aspects of microwaves. Its proper use should allow both to certify products and to provide valuable information in the design phase of a project.
At the end of this training, participants will be able to provide reliable results with uncertainty ranges and to interpret the measurements made.

Intended for: Senior electronics engineers and technicians who need to design and use microwave characterization benches.
Electronics engineers responsible for designing microwave circuits.
Senior engineers and technicians responsible for characterizing or even certifying microwave systems and who need to provide measurement results and associated uncertainties.
The “MMIC Monolithic Integrated Circuits (MMIC) CAD” course is a perfectly suited complement to this audience.

Duration and terms: 21 h
