Course Details

Objectives: The Master's degree in Mechanics at Sorbonne University aims to train experts in mechanical phenomena, processes and systems. The training places particular emphasis on analytical modeling and numerical simulation. It also places a significant emphasis on experimental methods for observation and characterization.

This Master's degree prepares students for the roles of engineers focused on Research & Development in Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Energy and Acoustics. This Master's degree also trains students in fundamental or applied research in mechanics: at the end of this Master's degree, more than one in five graduates complete a doctoral thesis.
