Course Details

Objectives:
- Design a multi-antenna system.
- Characterize the performance of the antenna network.
- Characterize the performance of MIMO systems.

Intended for: Ingénieurs et techniciens en charge de développer des systèmes électroniques communicants.
Ingénieurs et techniciens en charge de valider des systèmes électroniques communicants.

Prerequisites: - S parameters.
- Notions of antenna and radiation.

Acquired skills during the training :
- Antenna design with professional electromagnetic software.
- Prototyping of a planar antenna array: manufacturing + measurements.
- Introduction to MIMO techniques: notions of diversity, beamforming, spatial multiplexing, etc.
- Propagation channel measurements and capacity calculation (spectral efficiency) with reminders of the use of a vector network analyzer (VNA).
