Course Details

Objectives: The technological evolution of the electronic field is extremely rapid, however the basic scientific and technical knowledge for the design and development of systems does not change with the same speed.
The underlying trends in tomorrow's electronics are quite clearly identified, the emphasis is placed both on the devices and on the means to be developed to implement these needs, on the scale of on-board electronics or not: - increasingly advanced integration (ASIC, DSP, FPGA, etc.) with a convergence of computing and electronics,
- importance of applications particularly in telecommunications and automobiles,
- component technologies (RF and microwave or power, etc.),
- growing importance of digital signal processing,
- importance of reducing system consumption.
Training must ensure a balance between:
- the scientific bases: mathematics, physics, electronics, computer science,
- cultural bases: English, communication, economic and social management
- and the specific techniques of the electronics engineer: information theory, signal processing, digital communications, embedded technologies.
From the second year, a coloring in the course is offered: "Telecommunications" or "embedded systems"

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The Cnam engineer specializing in Electronic Systems is capable of:
- analyze a technical problem
- establish rigorous specifications or technical specifications
- to choose technological solutions
- to master modeling methods and tools
- to master and use computer tools (programming and simulation)
- to master digital techniques and technologies intended for the processing and transmission of information signals.
- to design complex electronic devices or systems
- implement testing and production tools.
- ensure monitoring and quality
- to anticipate developments and technological advances in the field of electronics by ensuring technological monitoring.
