Master 2 EEEA parcours Signal, Vision, Ondes, Systèmes (SiVOS)

Course Details

Objectives: The Master 2 SIVOS offers general training in the field of ICT (Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies) which aims to prepare students for engineer-level positions in the industrial sector or in organizations academic research. The course is directly linked to the skills recognized at the highest international level of teacher-researchers from Rennes research laboratories (IETR, LTSI, IRISA). It also draws on the varied industrial fabric of the fields concerned (Orange Labs, RATP, Intel Mobile Communications, Canon, INFINEON, Mitsubishi, Parrot, Thalès, Philips, Siemens, GE Healthcare, etc.). The training is made up of a common core which allows students to acquire solid theoretical bases in optimization, programming, artificial intelligence and data sciences, as well as a specialty to choose from four: Human-Centered Robotics (HCR ), Waves and Communicating Systems (OSC), Signal Image Vision (SiV) and Smart Energy (SEY).
Specialties offered:
Human-Centered Robotics (HCR)
Waves and Communicating Systems (OSC)
Vision image signal (SiV)
Smart energy (SeY)

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : - acquisition of knowledge and know-how and resolution of complex problems in professions in the ICST (Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies) sector;
- analysis of situations, systems and algorithms and adaptation to the problem posed;
- interface between different areas of expertise;
- project management, from specifications to implementation, validation and valorization;
- creativity, organization, taking responsibility, teamwork;
- innovation and technological monitoring of its area of ??expertise;
