Course Details

Objectives: The professional field “Robotics – Factory of the future” allows future engineers to acquire skills to evolve in the professions of robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and more generally in fields linked to modern industry (known as “industry 4.0”).

New issues are constantly exposed to this modern industry: increasingly fluctuating orders leading to modular factories, requests for robotization of workshops which are not designed to operate in a vacuum (unlike classic automated assembly lines ), growing interest in assistive robotics helping human agents in their tasks… These new uses then lead to the need to rethink human-robot interaction.

To navigate this vast field and support its rapid changes, skills in robotics, operational research and AI are essential.
