Course Details

Objectives: The objective of the standard Communicating Systems course is to train students with the necessary knowledge to tackle careers related to digital communications systems, embedded systems, or the design of systems operating at radio or microwave frequencies.

The training provided allows the graduate to master the study and design of new high-frequency electronic systems or telecommunications. He will be able to propose and develop new applications of these systems. An expert in the fields of high-frequency embedded electronic systems and telecommunications, the graduate is, at the end of his internship in a company or laboratory, directly operational. He can perform a role as a research or development engineer.

The “Communicating Systems” course is also offered as an apprenticeship in partnership with the CFA des Sciences of Sorbonne University.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Acquired skills during the training : The targeted scientific skills are multidisciplinary and include advanced knowledge in analog and digital electronics, electromagnetism, and communications modeling and simulation.

Targeted careers : High frequency electronics and telecommunications are present in many applications in our daily lives. The "Communicating Systems" course prepares students to work mainly within teams in charge of technical projects in the field of embedded electronic and radio frequency systems. It can also lead them to carry out research or development activities in public or industrial laboratories, after preparing a doctorate.

The sectors of activity interested in graduates of the Master "Communicating Systems" are those of transport (aeronautics, railway, automobile), electronic design and integration, telecoms, networks (data, communications, etc.). ..), energy, health, micro and nano-technologies, defense, etc.
