Objectives: After a general presentation of embedded systems, the training details the different levels of vulnerability weighing on these systems, from software to hardware. It is based on concrete examples of systems with vulnerabilities and for which effective means of protection have been put in place. You will discover a panorama of techniques that are part of an embedded system: software (Java Card), communication interfaces (radio or wired), debugging ports, hardware generation of hazards, information leakage through auxiliary channels, etc. Finally, you will be able to evaluate the security of these systems and you will have an overview of how certification works according to the ANSSI Common Criteria.
Cybersecurity training - Embedded systems security (IoT)
Intended for: Engineers/project managers responsible for the deployment and implementation of embedded systems in a context where security plays an important role
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of cryptography (concept of key, symmetric/asymmetric crypto difference, concept of public key certificate) Concepts of microelectronics (component, transistor, memories, microcontroller)
