Objectives: The ARs course (Automation and robotics of intelligent systems) focuses on the software aspects of mutually interacting autonomous technological systems, known as systems of systems. Such systems are, for example, intelligent road vehicles communicating with each other or with the infrastructure of an intelligent transport system, aerial mini-drones or sensor networks that exchange information in real time. The systems studied generally implement capacities of perception, communication, learning, decision and action while interacting with their environment and their congeners. They must also be able to deal with many sources of uncertainty that can affect their performance and consequently the operation of the system. The course is integrated into the training component of the Laboratory of Excellence (Labex) System Mastery.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : To design, study and implement these complex systems, the training focuses on the acquisition of skills in information technology and systems, in particular:
operational safety, supervision, monitoring,
data fusion, machine learning,
optimization, operational research,
automation, modeling of dynamic systems, state observation,
robot control, robotic navigation, perception, vision,
complex systems, systems of systems.
Targeted careers : professional activity in research, development and innovation in the public or private domains as expert researcher, project manager, system expert, expert in formal methods, etc.
