Objectives: Courses offered: Thermal and Energetic Course, Mechanical and Reliability of Structures Course, Maintenance and Reliability of Marine Renewable Energy Course, CMI Engineering Course in Mechanical Calculation (CMI ICM)
The Mechanics and Reliability of Structures (MFS) course of the Master's degree in Mechanics trains high-level calculation engineers and specialists in complex non-linear and uncertain behaviors: buckling, plasticity, damage, fatigue, uncertainties. Taking these phenomena into account makes it possible to produce industrial products that are optimized in terms of reliability and service life. It relies on the GeM research laboratory (Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering - UMR CNRS 6183, Nantes University, Centrale Nantes) with the participation of IFSTTAR (French Institute of Transport Sciences and Technologies, development and networks) and industrialists. This mix between academic and applied training, provided by specialized executives, will allow you to integrate into all types of industrial, service or research & innovation sectors, with a recognized master's degree and strong assets.
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Targeted careers : Engineer and researcher, Research and Development Project manager Researcher or teacher-researcher (after a doctorate)
