Course Details

Objectives: This certifying training offered by the Grenoble University Space Center (CSUG) aims to provide a technical and societal culture of the space world as well as a practice of space instrumentation.

The certification training consists of three modules:
- Module 1: Course on space technologies
- Module 2: Economic, legislative, societal and scientific issues
- Module 3: Learning-by-doing projects
Certification can only be obtained when these three modules have been followed and validated.

Intended for: Employees or people returning to studies with a Bac+2 level or professional equivalent, to perform functions as an assistant engineer or middle manager.

Degree Level (EU) : (niveau 6) - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Bac+2

Admission requirements: Admission upon examination of the file (CV and Cover Letter).

Acquired skills during the training : Skills in space engineering (instrumentation and system, and data) will be acquired by the trainees in technical fields as well as in knowledge of the socio-economic environment of space.

Specifically :
- technical skills specific to space,
- skills in the design and development of a space system,
- knowledge of the legal framework,
- data processing skills,
- presentation techniques.

Targeted careers : The level of competence achieved is that necessary to allow participation in, and application of its capacities of systems engineering in the fields of space and aeronautical engineering, photonics, electronics, mechanics, metrology, meteorology, observation of the earth, medical, nuclear instrumentation, etc.…

Duration and terms: The three modules of the training take place over approximately 12 months, with the possibility of starting, at the start of the year (February) with module no. 2 or in September/October with module no. 1.
