The Materials specialty trains engineers with knowledge of the major classes of materials, with skills oriented towards the development of new materials, the characterization, choice and use of materials, as well as quality and environmental aspects.

This specialty is labeled by the national competitiveness cluster MAUD (Materials and Applications for Sustainable Use and by the IAR cluster (Industries and Agro-Resources).

Targeted careers : The Materials Engineer is present in all branches of industry, his skills being necessary when it comes to designing and producing an object: a vehicle, a mobile phone, a hip prosthesis, a windsurf board, a nuclear reactor, a solar cell ...
