Objectives: Multidisciplinary, Physical Measurements training provides solid skills in physics and physico-chemistry to prepare instrumentation specialists.
The Physical Measurements department trains specialists in measurement, data acquisition, control and quality over 3 years. The holder of the B.U.T. Physical Measurements is able to participate in the design of a measurement chain, to implement it in the laboratory or on an industrial site, and to practice statistical analysis of measurements within the framework of quality control. The versatility of training leads to a great diversity of openings which can be found in all sectors of activity.
Instrumentation Techniques (IT), Materials and Physico-Chemical Controls (MCPC), Environmental Measurements and Analysis (MAE)
Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Acquired skills during the training : 5 skill blocks:
Conduct a measurement campaign Deploy metrology and the quality approach Implement a measurement and instrumentation chain Characterize physical, chemical quantities and the properties of a material Define specifications that meet a need for measurements by controlling the environmental, energy and sustainability issues
