Objectives: The BUT Mechanical and Production Engineering trains industry generalists capable of managing the three key stages of the life cycle of a product: design, industrialization, and industrial organization. In the second year, students choose a specialized path, offering essential skills for the industry of the future, such as innovation, virtualization, sustainable development, management, and commercialization.

Determine industrial technical-economic requirements based on customer needs
Determine the optimal solution
Implement the chosen technical solution
Manage the life cycle of the product and production system
Targeted careers : The GMP graduate applies for jobs in design office, methods office, manufacturing, research and product development ...).
Sectors: all industrial activity sectors, from metallurgy to aerospace, including automotive, micromechanics, aeronautics, nuclear industry, but also tertiary activity sectors such as transport, research, etc.
