Course Details

Objectives: The master's in Chemistry prepares students to take on managerial positions at Bac + 5 level in many areas of chemistry (green chemistry, catalysis, (nano) -materials, analytical chemistry, water treatment, organic synthesis) related to many industrial fields such as aeronautics, space, energy, environment, health.

Intended for: Undergraduate students in chemistry

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: Knowledge in organic, inorganic, analytical, theoretical chemistry or physical chemistry at bachelor's level

Admission requirements: Bachelor in Chemistry or Physics-Chemistry or equivalent diploma

Acquired skills during the training : 1) General skills for the master in Chemistry

* To be able to carry out and plan a project over an imposed duration

* Implement optimized experiments

* Carry out scientific or technological literature monitoring

* Manage risk assessement

* Knowing how to communicate, synthesize

2) Specific skills according to the chosen cursus

* to master analytical chemistry and quality

* to master sustainable (green) chemistry processes, catalysis and environmental remediation

* to master the organic synthesis of chemical molecules targeted for living organisms

* to control the quality and treatment of water

* to master the physico-chemistry of materials and nanomaterials

Duration and terms: 2 years
2 years, in initial training or by work-study program (Apprenticeship or " Contrat de Professionnalisation")

Notes: Doctoral studies to become a researcher / teacher-researcher are possible.
