Objectives: The specialty "Mechanical Engineering" emphasizes the mastery of digital tools and associated theory in different fields of applications:
o Behavior of Materials, Eco-design, Composite materials and polymers.
o Modeling of articulated mechanical systems.
o Digital Fluid Mechanics.
o Crash behavior and impact of transport structures.
o Vibratory, acoustic, thermal and fatigue behavior.
o Plasticity and shaping.
o Optimization in Mechanical Engineering.
• During the course, the student will use a wide range of business software (more than 800 hours of practice spread over the 3 years, plus in-company training): CAD (Solidworks, Catia, Geomagic), Finite Element Mesh (Hypermesh ), Dynamic Analysis (Motionworks, Adams, Ansys, Pamcrash, Pamsafe), Finite Element Solvers (Ansys APDL & Workbench, Radioss), Process Simulation (Pamstamp, Forge Nxt), Optimization (Optistruct, Hyperstudy), Post Processing (Hyperview ), Programming (Matlab, APDL).
• During the 3 years, the student will be put on the job for almost half of the teaching hours (practical work, projects, industrial case studies supervised by different industrial partners in the field). In addition, part of the lessons are given in the form of Project and Problem Learning. The last semester of the training cycle is largely dedicated to the Correlation of Essays / Calculations and to the End of Studies Project in a Company.
• A significant part of the lessons is devoted to Humanities (27%): English, Economic and Social Sciences, including Management, Communication, Sustainable Development, Law, Economy, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, etc.
