Objectives: The specialty "Mechatronics" allows students to acquire a multidisciplinary skill mainly articulated around mechanics, electronics, automation and industrial computing. Its objective is to train engineers capable of tackling a system as a whole, integrating, from the start of its design, the human, financial and environmental aspects, without forgetting operational safety and innovation.
Intended for: Students
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Admission requirements: 1st year: Scientific baccalaureate S specialties: Maths + Physical sciences or Maths + Engineering sciences or Maths + Numerical and computer sciences or Maths + SVT
2nd year: L1 scientist, 1st engineering school post-bac, 1st year CPGE
3rd year: DUT, 2nd year CPGE, L2, L3, ATS
4th year: M1, course compatible with the specialty
Acquired skills during the training : • Lead a multidisciplinary and innovative industrial project
• Design and build complex mechatronic systems (ABS, drones, ...)
• Model and simulate the multi-physical phenomena involved
• Establish a synthesis between the different experts: the role of the mechatronics engineer is to think of the system as a whole, very early on integrating the constraints of reliability, maintainability, availability and security
• Provide high-level scientific advice
• Take into account the human dimension in the entire design process
• Federate a multidisciplinary team, national or international.
Targeted careers : 2 business axes to choose from: Architecture of Mechatronic Systems Or Digital Design of Mechatronic Systems
Duration and terms: 5 years, 4 years, 3 years or 2 years depending on the entry cycle
Partnerships with national organisations: INSA
