Course Details

Objectives: IPSA's Bachelor in Aeronautics trains students in 3 years for careers in air, space and mobility, for rapidly developing roles, such as assistant engineers, network and telecom technicians, database analysts, cyber security, data architecture, and also airport careers. This course is intended for those who want to be there to support the development of this industrial sector, and contribute to the creation of tomorrow's transport.

Intended for: IPSA’s Bachelor in Aeronautics allows students to participate in and lead work related to the design and deployment of autonomous systems, using the latest advances in automation, mechatronics, artificial intelligence, big data analysis, digitalization, detection, optimization, information technology and systems engineering.

Autonomous systems are entering our work, urban and domestic environments. Imagine: fleets of autonomous robots in manufacturing facilities, advanced warehouse logistics solutions, unmanned cargo ships, interconnected smart devices and networks, or even multiple drone applications.

IPSA’s Bachelor in Aeronautics, designed in collaboration with companies in the sector, prepares students to actively participate in tomorrow’s innovations.

Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Prerequisites: ADMISSION TERMS

Assessment of the file
Oral motivation: this is essential to learn more about the candidate, their study and career plans, their expectations and to determine their suitability to join IPSA.

Admission requirements: The IPSA Bachelor's in Aeronautics program is aimed at students in their final year of high school with scientific and STI2D specializations, Bac+1 and Bac+2 who want to join air and space professions, as well as related or derived professions, by joining a specialized major school.

The program can be integrated in the 1st year from the Baccalaureate, in the 2nd year from a Bac+1, in the 3rd year from a Bac+2.

Acquired skills during the training : The advantages of the Bachelor's degree
A school recognized for its engineering training (CTI accreditation)
A 3rd year is a work-study program for more professional experience
A specialized school focused on all air and space professions
Specializations that allow for an individualized and tailor-made curriculum
A training that integrates the environmental challenges of new mobility
A real international opening with the university exchange stay
A concrete immersion in the business world thanks to internships and work-study programs
A teaching method that combines theory and practice
The only Bachelor's degree in France that offers the opportunity for an introduction to the profession of pilot

Targeted careers : The 3-year IPSA Bachelor's degree course is especially recommended for students who want to enter the workforce quickly. The Bachelor's degree allows you to choose a specialization immediately after the Baccalaureate, in professions that are currently in full development, with promising opportunities.

All IPSA training courses are done in direct connection with companies in the aeronautics sector in order to meet their needs exactly.

The IPSA Bachelor's degree also offers the opportunity to pursue a second cycle in an engineering school, or in an MS (Masters of Science) or MBA type course.

Duration and terms: Embedded computing, artificial intelligence and data science are driving innovations that are revolutionizing all of our mobility and the professions associated with it.
With these transformations that take environmental issues into account, traditional industry increasingly needs versatile professionals, trained in 3 years after the Baccalaureate, who will have focused on specializations adapted to these new challenges of sustainable mobility.

2 SPECIALIZATIONS

DRONES: The Drones specialization aims to deepen the design of autonomous systems mainly in the field of automation. Autonomous systems and drones are currently expanding rapidly, and the fields of application, already numerous, are set to diversify.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI): The AI ??specialization allows students to master the techniques of data collection and processing, to store and exploit them using artificial intelligence. These techniques are applied to the requirements of the aeronautics sector.

Notes: To acquire a dual skill, students can choose to follow an additional training option from the 3 offered:

Drone pilot training (only for drone specialization students)
EPITA IA certificate (only for IA specialization students)
Pilot training with AEROPYRENEES (open to students of both specializations)

Partnerships with national organisations: EPITA, Aéropyrénées

International partnerships: Technical University of Ostrava, Kaunas University of Technology, Riga Technical University
