Objectives: The BUT Physical Measurements trains specialists who are highly sought after for their versatility and adaptability. Their skills cover a large number of areas (materials, electronics, mechanics, optics, vacuum techniques, thermodynamics, chemistry, nuclear, IT, etc.) as well as physical and physico-chemical measurements and methods of analysis, management, control and quality.
Degree Level (EU) : 6 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Targeted careers : assistant engineer positions in industry and research: aeronautics, automobiles, chemistry, forensic science, pharmaceuticals, nuclear industry and medicine, electronics, materials, energy, telecoms, environment, etc.
Duration and terms: Initial training and apprenticeship in the second and third years
Open courses: Instrumental Techniques (TI) and Materials and Physico-Chemical Controls (MCPC)
