Objectives: At the end of the training, trainees will be able to:
- Integrate international and national aeronautical regulations into their productions;
- Explain the meteorological problem of the aeronautical user
- Describe the significant phenomena impacting navigation and air traffic.
This training complies with the competency standards of document OMM49 volume I and the competency implementation guide applicable to aeronautical meteorological forecasters.
Intended for: Meteorologists or meteorologists from national meteorological services in charge of forecasting activities or carrying out meteorological forecasting and assistance activities for aeronautical activities.
10 places for day students / 24 places in all.
Prerequisites: - Good knowledge of general meteorology and principles of numerical models
- Having followed the “concepts and methods” course is desirable
