Course Details
Objectives: At the end of the training, the trainee will be able to:
Explain the principles of remote sensing and radiative transfer.
Describe the current and future constellation of weather satellites and their instruments.
List the data produced, applications and products derived from satellite measurement and their use.
Intended for: Scientists, whatever their field of activity (meteorology, research, teaching, business, etc.), wishing to update or deepen their knowledge in the field of meteorological satellites and of their applications.
10 places for day students / 16 places in all.
Prerequisites: Notions of meteorology and satellite remote sensing.
