Objectives: Presentation
The engineer or project manager trained by the MS PF&R are experts in the field of composite materials and polymer and metallic additive manufacturing in an industrial situation. They are able to jointly approach materials, processes and their robotization.
Their technical expertise allows them to pilot and carry out the development, deployment and implementation of manufacturing solutions for the factory of the future. They dominate the entire digital chain, from simulation to robot control. Aware of the quality, cost and time constraints associated with these processes, they know how to guide investments and technological choices upstream of development.
The training is organized by the Higher School of Advanced Industrial Technologies (ESTIA) and SIGMA Clermont. It draws on the expertise and resources of their industrial platforms Compositadour, Addimadour and 2MAtech.
Intended for: Master level diploma.
Engineer diploma authorized by the CTI
Bachelor's degree with professional experience of at least 3 years
Foreign diploma equivalent to the French diplomas required above
Continuing education - work-study
The Specialized Master is open to working professionals wishing to follow the work-study course over 12 months (possibility of development over 24 months).
Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)
Prerequisites: Engineering degree or equivalent, in mechanics, robotics, industrial IT, processes, materials.
Admission requirements: Bac + 5
Acquired skills during the training : 2 courses to choose from:
Composite materials and polymer additive manufacturing
Metal additive manufacturing
Targeted careers : The purpose of the Specialized Master in Future Processes & Robotization is to train engineers and managers in the field of advanced manufacturing process design: composite materials, additive manufacturing, advanced machining. Graduates are proficient in the technologies used by major accounts in the aeronautics, automotive, space, sports and leisure industries. They can also provide their expertise in mid-cap companies and specialized SMEs.
The graduate plays a key role in leading research and technological development of the processes. He proposes a process development plan that is consistent with the company's product development plan and assumes the smooth running of it. He directs the testing and development phases of the process and can also take responsibility for production when it is optimized. He interacts with all of the company's departments and customers. Depending on developments, he is called upon to interact with all types of personnel, from operators and technicians to doctors. He is a benchmark expert, listened to by management when making strategic investment decisions. Subsequently, it can evolve towards the management of production teams when the process is mature.
Duration and terms: Application file including CV and motivation letter.
For candidates whose file is declared admissible: interview with those responsible for the 12 months.
Final admission to the Specialized Master is subject to acceptance in a company for the completion of the professional thesis.
Partnerships with national organisations: Sigma (Ecole d'ingénieurs)
