Course Details

Objectives: With global competition and strong demand for innovation from
consumers, the need for collaborative engineering prevails in the market
today. The field of management and safety of air traffic - civil and
defense - are no exception.
The University of Bordeaux / Institut evering and the University of Cincinnati, College of
Engineering and Applied Sciences (UC CEAS) are partners in the implementation
of the collaborative Aero-System Operations diploma (AESOP).
Students from each university simultaneously prepare for the Master of
Engineering (Meng) from the University of Cincinnati and the International Diploma from the University of
Bordeaux and obtain both diplomas.
The objective of this program is to enable students to acquire science training in one year
an engineer focused on the professions of aircraft life cycle management; She bring
operational know-how that prepares engineers to excel in the world of
aeronautics.

Intended for: Masters student at the Evering Institute or the University of Cincinnati, with a bachelor's degree.

- Level of English required: B2 (CECL) or IELTS: 6.5 min or TOEFEL: 85

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: Candidates graduating from a European university:
- Holder of a European bachelor or a professional license diploma
European with 180 ECTS / 90 US credits in a College of Sciences. This
training must be accompanied by three years of professional experience. OR
- Holder of a Master's degree with at least 240 ECTS / 120 US credits in a College
University of Sciences.
Applicants who have graduated from an American university:
- Holder of a "Bachelor of Science" with 240 ECTS / 120 US credits in a College
University of Sciences.

Targeted careers : Flight operations engineer
- Aeronautical maintenance engineer, maintenance in operational conditions of
aircraft and life cycle management
- Engineering studies,
- Customer support engineer
- Supply chain engineer for aircraft production.

Duration and terms: 1 year divided into 2 semesters:
- The first semester takes place at the University of Bordeaux
- The second semester takes place at the University of Cincinnati
Internship in a research laboratory or in industry.

Notes: Double Degree: International University Diploma (DUI) and American Master of Degree Engineering (Meng)
