Course Details

Objectives: The field of on-board lighting is undergoing profound change with the arrival of new light technologies such as LEDs, laser LEDs or OLEDs, and the development of new complex intelligent lighting systems such as ADB, Matrix Beam, Pixel lighting, etc.
To meet the high resource needs of the sector, in France and abroad, four major industrial players PSA, Renault, Automotive Lighting and Valeo have created with the Institut Optique Graduate School, ESTACA and Strate Ecole de design the chair ELS, with the support of Osram, Bertrandt and Mentor graphics.
The chair is developing in France a high-level international training cycle in English preparing for the trades of on-board lighting systems.
 The complete cycle includes:
 - a first semester between September and December,
 - then a business thesis.
The diploma or each of its modules is also accessible in continuing education:
Fundamentals of optics / Photometry / Systems Engineering / Mechatronic modeling / Creative Design / Light sources / Advanced photometry / Environment constraints / Advanced mechatronics / Information systems / Surface simulations / Appearance rendering.

Degree Level (EU) : 7 - (EQC level or equivalent)

Admission requirements: Ingineer or M2

Duration and terms: 1 year
